Bees & Pollinators Workshop 9 August

The National Data Centre for Biodiversity is in town for its annual field trip in August, and they have offered to do a talk on Bees, Bumblebees and Pollinators for the Tidy Towns Network. The focus will be on what you can do to support your local population of pollinators – stuff from how to manage grassed areas and hedgerows to providing good nesting cover to planting to ensure a longer season for nectar collection  (eg, Ivy is a tremendously  important species for bees preparing for hibernation, as it flowers in winter)

Please KEEP FREE the evening of Friday 9th August. Venue: 4 Seasons Hotel, Monaghan at 7pm
